Frankenmuth

heidel haus sits on 80 acres of mid-Michigan agricultural land of which approximately 77 acres is still currently farmed. This property, over the last 90 years, has yielded acres of vegtable and flower gardens, dairy cattle, hogs, chickens, and numerous butchering parties.  Jams and jellies, homemade sauerkraut, even pounds of homemade lye soap have been part of the traditions attached to the heidel haus.  This has always been a working farm and continues to be a traditional country farm house.
