Frankenmuth

heidel haus is conviently located just minutes from downtown Frankenmuth.  Frankenmuth is known for its famous chicken restaurants, Bavarian Inn and Zenders, but they are also equally know for Bronner's Christmas Shop.  You must set aside a few hours to leisurely walk through Bronners and experience  Christmas no matter what time of year.  After Bronners maybe stroll down main street and visit the speciality food shops that only Frankenmuth offers.  You can sample chocolate mint cheese, pretzels, Michigan cherry kuchen plus much more.  Or, you may want to shop for clothing at many of the clothing boutiques and browse through the fine gift shops which featuress items from the past and all the current trends.  Of course you will have the problem of deciding at which restaurant to dine, which coffee shop to sit and have your flavored coffee, or which ice cream and candy shop to satisfy your sweet tooth.​
